The Datapax Food Processor system has complete total inventory control functionality (including automated purchase orders), formulation and assembly, costing and production scheduling based on estimated depletion of products in stock.  Its customer interface allows for a wide selection of contract pricing, allowing any price for any product to any customer for any period and for any quantity.

Customer orders can be entered in several ways, including standing orders by day of week and "shadow" orders based on items normally purchased.   As orders are entered the system will check for availability of each item depending on stock and prior orders.

With Datapax, you can forecast the next production date for each product based on depletion of inventory of past sales history.

The Datapax Food Processor system will also give you daily and periodic profitability reports and track the daily movement of all your ingredients, made-up ingredients, products in process, packaging and finished products.

    Datapax Lot Tracking

    This is a passive lot tracking system that can track materials through manufacture to the ul­timate customers.

    • Production schedules print tracking sheets requesting material lot numbers
    • Production lot numbers are generated with 7 digit codes representing date and batch number
    • Pack­ing slips re­quest the product lot numbers for each customer
    • Both sets of records are used either to track products to their customers, ingredients to product lots.

    Datapax Common Carrier

    This module creates Bills of Lading directly from the customers’ orders. It shows the carrier’s name and address, as well as recipients name and address, quantity, description and weight for each item, total number of items to be shipped and the total weight and volume of the shipment.

    Datapax Sales Commissions

    This module computes and lists the sales commission assigned to each salesperson. Com­missions can be based on invoices or on receipts and are based on a set percentage as­signed to each salesperson that can be over-ruled by commissions by customer.

    • Salespeople can be assigned to each customer
    • Commissions are computed for sales or receipts over any specified period
    • Each salesperson can be allocated a different percentage commission
    • Commissions may be compute either on invoiced sales or receipts
    • Sales can be capped by customer percentages.

    Accounting Interfaces

    Are you currently using an accounting system to manage your company’s financials? Continue using your accounting software in conjunction with Datapax. Rather than limiting our users to a built-in accounting system, the Datapax system integrates with most major accounting packagers. Invoices for inventory received in Datapax are transferred to Accounts Payable and distributed to multiple expense accounts. All transactions in the Datapax Accounts Receivable function are imported by the accounting system’s general ledger. Call one of our representatives for more details.

    Datapax Nutrition Analysis

    This module is based on standard food labeling requirements for both the USA and Canada

    • Nutritional Values Database for common ingredients is supplied
    • Data files on all nutrition values are simple to create and to maintain.
    • User may create their own data to suit specialized production needs
    • Recommended Daily Allowances (RDA) may be updated by the user
    • Nutrition computation is computed from the rec­ipe(s) and product weight
    • At the user’s option, nutritional results are corrected for pH, heat in preparation, and freez­ing
    • Label information is presented in the units as required by the FDA regulations.
    • Ingredients are listed in descending order by weight.
    • Allergens are reported as needed
